What kind of legal entity is ClementinaCares? We are a nonprofit. Legally speaking, we are a California Nonprofit Mutual Benefit Corporation. We are all volunteers. No one on the Board of Directors is or ever has been paid. Who should I call if... (fill in the blank!)? If you have a problem or if you have a question for someone in city government, but you don't know who to call, dial 311. They will direct your calls to the right place. What about if someone is camping on the sidewalk in front of your door? If the person looks like he or she needs medical attention, call 911. If you just want to have someone ask to move that person along, call the police non-emergency number, which is 553-0123. The police captain for Southern Sation (our area) has regular meetings with the community and they encourage us to always call that number when there is a problem. In fact, officers are deployed based on the statistics from which areas frequently call in to them to report issues. What's going on at the parking lot at Fifth and Mission?
